A game of few chances between two relegation battling teams ended in a goalless Vanarama National League draw at the LNER Community Stadium.
A strike off the post nearly saw York take the lead with the last touch of the first half, their only real opportunity of the period, but it was deadlock at the break.
A much more lively affair in the second half saw big chances for both sides but neither of them managed to break the deadlock.

Match Report | Wrexham 3-0 York City
Two late Wrexham goals condemn York City to a 3-0 defeat who continue their fight for safety on Tuesday evening against Scunthorpe.
Top-of-the-table Wrexham took the lead in the 42nd minute after James Jones’ strike hit the crossbar bouncing in off the back of Ryan Whitley.
It took 40 minutes for Wrexham to double their lead when game Sam Dalby headed home a Ben Tozer throw in the 80th minute.
York’s fate was sealed in added time as Elliot Lee was through on goal to slot the ball past Whitley.

AJ Greaves Joins Spennymoor Town on loan for the rest of the season.
Tough-tackling Greaves, 22, initially joined the Minstermen on loan from Doncaster Roves in February 2022 and since making the permanent switch in the summer, he has made six appearances this campaign.
